Bryson shrugged off Remington’s jab. “That’s not your business.”
As they faced each other, the air between them thickened with tension.

Hannah, anxious to check on Roland, glanced between the two and said, “If you’re going to argue, please don’t do it here.”
At her words, both turned away, putting an end to their argument.
Maloney, watching this, struggled to suppress his laughter.
When they arrived at the scene of Roland’s accident, he had just been pulled from his overturned car.
Despite wearing a helmet and racing suit, the signs of serious injuries were evident.
The suit had multiple tears from the crash, and once his helmet was removed, blood was visible on his forehead. Thankfully, he was still alert.
A doctor arrived shortly after to assess Roland’s condition.
The Juarez family, relatively new to the scene, caused quite a commotion. Despite their recent rise to the ranks of the top six families through questionable means, they showed no hesitation in risking their reputation.

Upon seeing Remington, the patriarch of the Juarez family burst out angrily. “Is this how the Lyons family host their events? Just yesterday, a Delgado family member was attacked, and now this? The attacker hasn’t even been caught, and we have another incident. Doesn’t your family owe us some accountability?”
By then, the live stream had been shut down, preventing the Juarez family’s outburst from reaching a wider audience.
Remington, with a frown, responded, “Mr. Juarez, what occurred yesterday was unfortunate. And rest assured, we are looking into today’s racing incident to uncover the facts. We didn’t expect such an accident in today’s race.”
Yet, the head of the Juarez family wouldn’t let it go. “My son is lying here right now! His life is at risk! There’s only one medic here! Isn’t this a neglect of duty by your Lyons family?”
He created a scene right there, and the Lyons family members tried to calm him down.
The scene turned noisy and chaotic.
Since the ambulance hadn’t arrived yet, the doctor hesitated to move Roland, worried it could complicate his condition.
Hannah, unfazed by the commotion, crouched down to check on Roland.
“Miss, please don’t touch him. It could cause further injury,” the doctor cautioned her.
Hannah cradled Roland’s head to examine the back of it.
“Miss!” The doctor was anxious about potential complications.
After confirming there was no issue with the back of Roland’s head, Hannah gently released her hold and waved her finger in front of his eyes. “Can you clearly see what number this is?”
Though Roland appeared to be in pain, he still managed to give Hannah a clear look. “Two.”
“Okay. Hannah nodded. “He’s lucid. No brain damage. However, his arms and legs have multiple fractures. Be gentle when you move him to the ambulance later.”
